COMING EVENTS
The State Team Challenge Competition (STCC) is coming up on 16 May 2009. The Canberra run off will be held on Wednesday 13 May 2009.

MEETINGS
The Canberra Branch Monthly meeting for May 2009 will be held in conjunction with the STCC run off on Wednesday 13 May 2009. No meeting will be held at the Scout Hall the next night.
At the June meeting, Mario Capasso will show members his Assisting Insemination DVD and give a demonstration.
Members are asked to bring some birds along for the demonstration. Mario will also analyse some semen under a microscope. As a special offer any Canberra Branch member who purchases the DVD will be offered a personal visit to follow up so that they can be sure they know exactly how to A I correctly.
The Canberra Branch meets on the second Thursday of each month, at 7:30pm at the Scout Hall, Masson St, Turner. Experienced breeders attend all meetings. Visitors and new members are encouraged to join us. NOTE: There is no meeting in January each year!
We like to have Budgerigars at every meeting to provide a basis for discussions. For more details see the Table Shows page.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership is due by the end of December each so please plan to pay the Treasurer at or by the December meeting. The 2009 Membership Form is available for you to download and print. Remember, if you want to be a voting member of Canberra Branch you must pay through the Canberra Branch and not direct to BSNSW. If you pay direct to BSNSW you will be a social member of Canberra Branch (and a full member of the BSNSW).
SEED ORDERS
The club buys seed in bulk and passes the savings on to members. The seed orders are organised three or four times a year at the monthly meetings.
RINGS
(Approved) Closed aluminum rings are available to members of the BSNSW or its affiliated clubs. They can be obtained through the Ring Recorder of the Society, it's Branches, or Affiliated Clubs. Ring orders are due in end of March each year (if you wish to get your rings on 1 Septenber).
